(WFLA) — Google released its annual list of the year’s most popular searches – showing what we are all mutually obsessed with.
The top searches were money, music and natural disasters in terms including: “Powerball,” “Prince,” and “Hurricane Matthew.”
The Powerball jackpot in January went for $1.56 billion, which was the biggest in the world. Prince, who was an iconic figure in the music industry, died at the age of 57 in April. Hurricane Matthew rocked the Western Atlantic in late September and early October, causing numerous deaths and damages.
